The NIMSAT Institute welcomed Governor Denis Mathen, Province of Namur, Belgium and his team to the NIMSAT Institute on April 23, 2016. Dr. Michael Dunaway, Director of the NIMSAT Institute and Dr. Ramesh Kolluru, Vioce President for Research, Innovation and Economic Development at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette discussed the NIMSAT Institute projects working to enhancing disaster management through technology and conducted a tour of the Louisiana Business Emergency Operations Center, located in Abdalla Hall.
