Next Generation Business Emergency Operations Center (Next Gen BEOC)

The NextGen BEOC is a web-based information sharing platform that facilitates collaboration between public, private and non-profit organizations. The portal leverages nation’s best practices in information sharing, lessons learned from research in public-private partnerships, and experience in leading the Louisiana Business Emergency Operations Center (LABEOC), and has grown into a national network of organizations ready to implement the technology. The technology is FREE, customizable, user friendly, and capable of supporting existing processes and existing incident management systems such as WebEOC.

In 2015, Cincinnati activated its Virtual Business Emergency Operations Center for the MLB All-Star Game. The Greater Cincinnati Ready to Recover (R2R) organization (pictured above), covering the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area, recently adopted the VBEOC software dedicated to disaster preparedness, response, and recovery for businesses, coupled with MIR3, Inc., a real-time intelligent notification system, to deliver mass broadcast notifications to VBEOC subscribers.
