Call for Proposals

The Louisiana Emergency Management Conference (LEMC) Committee is excited to announce the Call for Presentations for the 2025 LEMC, scheduled to take place May 5-8, 2025, in Lake Charles, LA. This year’s conference theme focuses on highlighting the Past, Present, and Future of emergency management, offering a platform to share innovative ideas, time-tested strategies, and forward-thinking solutions that enhance resilience across all sectors. As 2025 marks one of the first major catastroporic incidents, such as Katrina and Rita, Louisiana has been the premier state pioneering many lines of efforts to strengthen capability at all levels of government and organizations. We invite dynamic and engaging presentations addressing current challenges, lessons learned, best practices, emerging technologies, evolving threats, and fostering participant interaction. Multiple submissions are welcome.
